WHPRMS Welcomes Four Members to Board of Directors
Madison, Wis., February 23, 2016—The Wisconsin Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society (WHPRMS) is pleased to announce the addition of four members to its board of directors. While the start of 2016 introduces fresh talent to the board, it also means several dedicated board members’ terms have ended.
The following individuals represent the incoming board:
- Jennifer Hyland – Campaign Manager, McDonald Schaefer; Treasurer
- Travis Baumgarten – Public Relations Assistant, Mile Bluff Medical Center; District Representative
- Clair McNamara – Internal Communications Specialist, Mercy Health System; District Representative
- Lisa Derosier – Community Relations Coordinator, Osceola Medical Center; District Representative
The following individuals represent the outgoing board:
- Haley Gilman – Director of Marketing and Community Relations, Divine Savior Healthcare; served two years as Communications Review Co-Chair
- Nicole Barreau – Senior Marketing Specialist, UW Health; served five years years as Education Chair and one year as Communications Review Chair
- Marisa Potter – OnCore Business Development Manager, Forte Research Systems, Inc.; served two years as Treasurer
“Our outgoing board members made tremendous contributions to our organization. We sincerely thank them for their efforts over the years and will truly miss them,” stated Matt Thompson, WHPRMS President. “We have pledged to uphold the mission for our membership by providing education, engagement and leadership opportunities to build on their knowledge and further develop their careers in healthcare. WHPRMS is thrilled about the potential of the incoming board and we have several exciting initiatives planned for 2016.”
This changing of the guard brings the WHRPMS board member total to 12. The following individuals make up the existing board:

- Kathy Schultz—Senior Marketing Consultant, UW Health; Secretary
- Rudy McCormick – Partner, Web Search Professionals; Membership
- Becky Goplin – Marketing Manager, Tea Leaves Health; Communications Review Chair
- Stacy Lenzen—Senior Communications Generalist, Hudson Hospital and Clinics; Communications Review Co-Chair
- Ryan Weckerly—President, MorningStar Media Group Ltd.; Social Media Director
- Chuck Moore—President, Ad Aids, Inc.; Sharing/Website Chair
- Mary Kay Grasmick, VP, Communications, Wisconsin Hospital Association; WHA Representative
The Wisconsin Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society (WHPRMS) is a personal membership organization of the Wisconsin Hospital Association that equips its members with current knowledge and tools in healthcare marketing, public relations and business development. Since 1971, the organization has been enabling members to elevate their expertise and value for their personal and professional development
